Job: Piano Teacher

Teachers at ESM are contracted on a self-employed basis and are required to be available during their contracted hours each week during school term time. The position typically requires working afternoons and evenings as the majority of lessons take place between 3 - 8pm Monday to Friday. It’s important to understand that in the early stages, it may take some time to build up a large portfolio of students. There are different levels of teachers and pay grades which are determined by experience, number of pupils taught and years of service within the school. Hourly wages range from £24 - £30. Candidate Requirements All teachers must hold a degree in Music and/or grade 8 in their first instruments Teachers must posses musical competence and knowledge of their instruments, plus a commitment to, and understanding of, the teaching and learning process Have at least 2 years teaching experience Hold a full UK driver’s licence and have access to a car Full PVG disclosure (or be willing to become PVG members)
