Creative Informatics is inviting you to find out more and have your say about their programme to-date.
Creative Informatics provides funding and development opportunities to individuals and organisations working in any area of the creative industries in Edinburgh and South East Scotland, to develop new products, businesses and experiences using data.
Since launching in 2019, Creative Informatics has committed £1,149,000 to support the region’s creative industries, through their Challenge Projects, Resident Entrepreneur scheme and CodeBase’s Creative Bridge programme.
The Creative Informatics Partnership Forum on August 5th is open to anyone involved in the creative industries in Edinburgh and South East Scotland. If you haven't engaged with the programme yet, head along to help the Creative Informatics team understand how they can best support you and find out more about their their future plans and funding opportunities. If you have engaged with Creative Informatics, this is your opportunity to share what you have gained from the programme and highlight any areas where you feel they could be doing better.
Taking place on Wednesday, August 5th from 10am - 12noon, the forum is a free, friendly and informal online session with the Creative Informatics team, giving you the chance to hear what they've been up to and their future plans alongside giving you the chance to share your feedback on the programme.
Kicking off at 10am, you'll find out more about Creative Informatics and the Partnership Forum before hearing about their funding and development opportunities, followed by a short Q&A session. The team will then share their COVID 19 updates, exploring how the programme has changed since the start of lockdown before digital breakout sessions give you the chance to give more detailed feedback on different areas of the programme, sharing ideas on how to engage with and support the creative industries. Topics include community and engagement, application process, language and communications and skills and knowledge. All thoughts will be rounded up before the team share future activities and open up their Q&A.
