Join us for the Creative Edinburgh Awards 2022 + 11th Birthday Bash on Friday 18th November. Early bird tickets will go on sale in September so make sure to keep an eye out in our newsletter and on social media!
Are you planning to apply for our Awards? Great! We want to hear about all the incredible creative projects that have taken place in Edinburgh. We’ve gathered together some top tips to guide you through the nomination process.
READ THE QUESTIONS
Read through the full entry form, you can read the overview for it here, take note of what’s being asked then separate your answers accordingly. We’ve asked everything we need to know so be sure to answer it in the right place so we don’t miss any important information about the project.
KEEP IT RELEVANT
We love hearing how projects have begun and evolved in Edinburgh, but don’t forget to remember which Award category you’re nominating yourself for and tell us how your project fits within it too. You can see the criteria for all awards in the Entry Form, or access it here.
QUALITY OVER QUANTITY
Our entry form is designed to be quick, straightforward and fair for all entries. No essays are required! Just tell us what you think we need to know about the work within a paragraph or two. We know that condensing it might prove tricky but we’re looking for quality, not quantity.
SHOW US YOUR GOODS
Be sure your links illustrate the project or person nominated and the value it’s had to Edinburgh's creative scene. Attachments are optional, but if you are uploading images, video or audio files, be sure they’re good quality. If shortlisted, we’ll use these links and attachments to make announcements and promote the project.
WE ARE ALL CREATIVE
There’s nothing we love more than seeing cross-sector collaborations so we want to hear from you, even if you’re only on the fringes of the creative industries. Techies, IT folk, lawyers - whoever you are, if you’ve collaborated with the creative industries or do work which represents it, that’s worth celebrating.
Nominations are open until Monday 19th September. Don’t forget, you deserve to be celebrated as much as everyone else, so nominate yourself if you’ve been working on an exciting creative project.
We don’t want to leave any stone of Edinburgh’s creative community unturned, so share the entry form around your networks and encourage friends, colleagues and collaborators to nominate.
We can’t wait to read your applications and really hope you can join us on Friday 18th November!
