2019's Independent Award was awarded to Jess Brough, writer and founder of Fringe of Colour, a scheme which promotes and connects people of colour from across sectors of the Edinburgh Fringe.

2019's Social Award was awarded to the Scottish BAME Writers Network, founded by Alycia Pirmohamed and Jay G Ying an accessible network which advocates and provides opportunities from BAME writers.

2019's Creativity Award was awarded to Impact Art (Projects) Ltd for Knight at the Castle, a neon extravaganza designed to celebrate the Year of the Young People which showcased young rising talent and integrated partnerships with youth organisations.

A pioneer, a mentor, a beacon of light… Let’s shout about the people whose contribution to their field, a project or Edinburgh’s whole creative community has been valuable and vital.

2019's Leadership Award was awarded to Helena Good, Design Lecturer at Edinburgh College, for her work inspiring the next generation of creatives over the space of her career through mentoring, teaching and leadership of Daydream Believers.

Edinburgh is a city full of inspiration and creativity so we want to hear about projects which have built on its cultural values, drawn on its city spaces or shouted about our creative hub on a national or international stage.

2019's City Award was awarded to Jemma Neville for Constitution Street, a recently published book and ongoing project praised for its exploration of the city's physical, political and social environment.
