If you would you like to try silver jewellery making that you can do from home or just want a creative breathing space outside of everyday life join me for one of my jewellery workshops. I teach in Edinburgh from my studios at Hill Street Design House and also for the Arienas Collective and Art Club Edinburgh. You can find my teaching dates on my website. I also love teaching for private parties, work groups and hen dos (where everyone makes a pendant for themselves and a silver charm for a bracelet for the bride) or stag dos (where everyone makes cufflinks for themselves). I am interested in teaching in other locations in Scotland including residential courses so do get in touch if you’d like to know more, I’d love to hear from you. I started my career qualifying as a teacher and lectured in Psychology up to university level. I have an interest in the psychology of creativity and have taught a course on the subject. While teaching I wanted to get back to doing something creative and decided to study jewellery making. My specialism is working with metal clay and I am qualified in the two main brands, Art Clay and PMC. I also hold the Higher Diploma in Metal Clay and am working towards the Masters Registry. I have taught classes in jewellery making since 2012 and I continue to be a mentor and assessor on the Diploma in Creative Jewellery at the London Jewellery School. I moved to Edinburgh from London in 2017 and am really enjoying teaching here. I sell some of my work online and in shops and have been fortunate to make jewellery on commission for celebrities.
