Pathways To Careers

Pathways to Careers is a new three-year pilot programme led by Creative Edinburgh in partnership with the City of Edinburgh Council, and local universities and colleges: Edinburgh Napier University, University of Edinburgh, Queen Margaret University and Edinburgh College.

The project supports recent creative graduates as they move from study to industry - offering mentoring, workshops, networking events and hands-on development opportunities.

Designed to strengthen connections between education and employment, Pathways to Careers aims to make Edinburgh’s creative ecosystem more inclusive, accessible and sustainable. By co-designing opportunities with partners, we’re building a long-term model to help creative talent stay and thrive in the city.

What’s Next?

This is a brand new initiative, and we’re currently in the early development stage - shaping the programme, gathering insights, and laying the groundwork for what’s to come. Over the next two years, we’ll be rolling out mentoring opportunities, workshops, creative skills courses, and events that bring students, graduates, and industry together.

Get Involved!

Whether you’re a senior student or recent graduate, a creative practitioner, or an organisation keen to support new talent, there are plenty of ways to get involved.
