Launching the 2025 Creative Edinburgh Awards!

As we mark another year of celebrating Edinburgh's vibrant and resilient creative community, we want you to shout about all the amazing creative people, projects and places that have really stood out this year! 

Whether you want to nominate a colleague, a friend, or yourself, applications are open now to make sure Edinburgh's creative community are truly acknowledged for their accomplishments.

There are eight award categories covering a wide range of creative practices, and we want to hear about anyone and everyone who deserves recognition for their work! You can read more about all eight award categories and the eligibility criteria here.

Applications are open for nominations now and will close on Sunday 28 September 2025!

How to Apply

The Creative Edinburgh Awards are free to enter and open to anyone living or working in the Edinburgh city region. 

To nominate yourself or someone else, you simply need to fill in the application form, hosted on Typeform, and available from our Awards Nominations page. 

As Typeform responses are not editable once submitted, we have also provided a downloadable template where you can think about and write out your application before then copying it over to the Typeform link when you’re ready to submit! 

Applications can be submitted in different formats - written and video. Video submissions can be made in English or British Sign Language.

On Friday 14 November we'll be hosting the 2025 Creative Edinburgh Awards Ceremony at Central Hall, where we'll reveal this year's winners, spotlighting the people and projects who have made their mark and helped redefine what creativity means in our city today.
