We are looking for a Programme Manager based in Edinburgh to join our Executive Team and SMT for 12 months as Maternity Cover. We are a small, close-knit team, and you'll be playing an important role in supporting the growth of our creative community. You’ll be a team player with a passion for creative events and ideas for community-based programming.

Behind every great event are the visual storytellers who capture those fleeting moments of triumph and connection. This year, we were incredibly fortunate to work with two exceptional creatives: photographer Jakub Iwanicki and filmmaker Paula Nahr, whose combined skills brought the energy and emotion of the evening to life. 

We are looking for an experienced, entrepreneurial Edinburgh-based Marketing & Communications Lead who is interested in the creative industries and community to join our Executive Team on a part-time basis. This role is key to delivering against the vision for Creative Edinburgh. You will be responsible for leading the strategic delivery of Creative Edinburgh’s Communications and Marketing Strategy to ensure the widest possible reach within the local, national and international audiences.

‘Fair Work First’ is the Scottish Government's flagship policy for driving high-quality and fair work across Scotland by applying fair work criteria to grants, other funding and contracts. Through this approach, the Scottish Government is asking employers across all sectors to adopt fair working practices: appropriate channels for providing an effective voice, such as trade union recognition; investment in workforce development; no inappropriate use of zero-hours contracts; action to tackle the gender pay gap; to create a more diverse and inclusive workplace; and payment of the Real Living Wage. 

Scotland’s Independent Culture Fair Work Taskforce was set up to look at how people working in the creative and cultural sectors are treated and to make work fairer. It was created in response to long-standing concerns about low pay, insecure freelance work, unpaid labour, and unequal access to opportunities.

On Friday 14 November 2025, the Creative Edinburgh Awards ceremony took place at Central Hall, Tollcross, celebrating the city’s vibrant creative community. Thirty-five finalists - representing individuals, projects, and organisations - were shortlisted across eight distinct categories.
