Contract type: Fixed term (maternity cover) - 12 months. Full-time, 5 days per week
Hours: 35 hours per week (plus 1 hour unpaid lunch break each day).
Salary: £31,000.
25 days holiday + 8 public holidays.
Pension scheme available (5% employer contributions).
Location: Creative Edinburgh office at CodeBase, 37a Castle Terrace, EH1 2EL, Edinburgh.
Equipment: Laptop, workstation.

Who are we?
Creative Edinburgh is a registered charity that supports the creative community in Edinburgh. Our community of over 7000 members is made up of freelancers, SMEs, students and start-ups, and it is through our events, creative initiatives, and mentoring programmes that we seek to connect these creative makers and thinkers from across the sectors to come together, encouraging them to share their stories and skills.

Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a Programme Manager based in Edinburgh to join our Executive Team and SMT for 12 months as Maternity Cover. We are a small, close-knit team, and you'll be playing an important role in supporting the growth of our creative community. You’ll be a team player with a passion for creative events and ideas for community-based programming.
What will you be doing?
The Programme Manager will implement Creative Edinburgh’s programme strategy and deliver events, both in-person and online, designed for creative practitioners and small businesses in Edinburgh. The programme strategy is underpinned by collaboration and creative partnerships across the city. The events programme aims to inspire, educate, connect, upskill and empower creative freelancers, in keeping with the mission and values of Creative Edinburgh.

What do we need from you?
- Demonstrable experience in events programming and delivery.
- Meticulous organisational and coordinating abilities.
- Excellent relationship-building, project management and collaboration skills.
- Excellent written and verbal presentation skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritise assignments in the face of multiple duties.
- Demonstrable ability to deliver projects on time, to the right quality and on budget.
- Excellent time management and ability to work as part of a team.
- Demonstrable interest in learning about Edinburgh’s creative industry landscape.
Desirable Skills
- Existing knowledge of in-person, hybrid and online programming at scale.
- Existing knowledge of finance, fundraising and business development.
- Familiarity with Edinburgh’s creative industries and cultural ecosystem.
- Excellent knowledge of Google Suite and other relevant software packages.
