We offer four different membership types, created to best support you wherever you are in your creative journey. Our Free Membership is open to all and sign up is quick and easy! Our Free Membership is the ideal starting place for people new to the city or to the creative industries, and those looking to make connections. As a Free Member you’ll also receive regular newsletters with the latest opportunities, events and jobs in the creative sectors.

General
- Is Creative Edinburgh membership only for creatives in Edinburgh?
You don’t have to live in Edinburgh to be a Creative Edinburgh member, membership is for anyone whose creative practice has a connection to or interest in Edinburgh. Our programme and support is mainly Edinburgh based, however, we do offer online support.
- Do I need to be registered as a business or as self-employed to have the Business Membership?
No, but we’d advise you to get in touch with membership@creative-edinburgh.com to check that this is the right membership package for you.
- Can I pay monthly for my membership?
Unfortunately we can't offer monthly membership payments at this time.
Membership Management
- I’m an existing Creative Edinburgh member, how do I change my membership?
  - Login to your account here.
  - In your member portal click the link to “Renew Membership”. It is located under Membership Information, then next to the expiration date.
  - Then, scroll down to the bottom of that page and click “Switch Membership Type”.
  - Select the membership type you wish to change to.
  - Update your membership information and proceed to payment.
  - If you have any issues, please contact info@creative-edinburgh.com.
- Is my profile open to the public on the Members Directory or only to existing members?
Any information you share in your Creative Edinburgh profile will appear to the public on the Members Directory. Please check your contact information and omit any details you do not wish to share publicly.
- How can I update my profile in the Members Directory?
You update your profile in the Members Directory by updating your Creative Edinburgh profile.
- Login to your account here.
- Scroll down and click Edit Membership Info.
- Check and update your details including ‘about me’, ‘sector area’, ‘status’ and ‘website or social links’.

- Can I cancel my membership?
If you would like to cancel your membership:
- Login to your account here.
- Please scroll to the bottom of the page and click ‘Cancel Membership’.
- Select ‘Cancel membership immediately’ and confirm.
- This cancels your membership and removes it from our active members library but does not delete the record of your membership. If you would like to delete the record please cancel your membership and then email info@creative-edinburgh.com with the subject “Delete Record Request”.

Please note: We do not offer partial or full refunds for our membership packages. If you are struggling financially, please do contact us, we run a pay it forward membership package scheme and may have available funds.
