Creative Informatics
Delivered by Creative Edinburgh, Connected Innovators is part of the wider Creative Informatics programme, and has provided an opportunity for emerging leaders in the creative industries to apply for funding for research and development or professional development around data and data-driven innovation.
Freelancers Report 2022
Creative Edinburgh, in partnership with the University of Edinburgh, Creative Informatics and Edinburgh Napier University, developed and published new research on the experiences of creative freelancers in the city.
Practice Support Project
The Practice Support Mentoring Project represents the third phase of an ongoing collaboration between Creative Edinburgh, EPAD and the City of Edinburgh Council. This year, we have provided unique professional development opportunities to freelancers and sole traders operating across the creative sectors.
CI Data Project
As one of the strategic partners in Creative Informatics, Creative Edinburgh embarked on a timely and innovative Data Project which aimed to help us become a truly data driven organisation and allow us to share the best practice in data collection methodologies with other organisations in the Scottish creative industries sector.
Sector-Specific Skills Report
The "Edinburgh and South-East Scotland Creative Industries Cross-Cutting and Sector-Specific Skills" Report was commissioned through the IRES Programme. It seeks to identify the cross-cutting and sector specific skills issues and challenges affecting the creative industries in Edinburgh and South East Scotland.
Sustainable Creativity + Innovation Project
In accordance with our continued priority of promoting Sustainability in Edinburgh and beyond, Creative Edinburgh is delighted to be delivering The Sustainable Creativity & Innovation Project with support from the Scottish Government Ecosystem Fund from October 2023 till end of March 2024.
